I have a huge backlog of holiday pictures, but I thought that the family and friends who read this blog would enjoy this picture of 2 generations of "P" girls. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Morning

Stocking Accomplished!

It took several days, but on the eve of December 22, I completed the mystic circle by embroidering Lola's name onto the stocking that Grandma made for her. The embroidery is not as bold as Grandma's is (on the stockings that say "Kathy" and "Josh"), but I'm content that I achieved letter formation on Lola's stocking. Lola requested pink letters, so I had to use a bright pink so that the thread would show. Merry Christmas Grandma!

Lola's Christmas Dress, Purchased!

Lola loves the Christmas dress we bought today ($17.99, Target!), so much that she had to put it on. I wouldn't let her play in it, though! I want her to feel special on the big day.

Here, Lola and her dolls dress up for the Emmys (we didn't really waste our time watching the Emmys). We used our fabric remnants and scarves to produce some notable fashion statements--no faux pas! You can see long-suffering Abdiel watching from the couch in the second photo.

Party at Andy's Manse!

Lola went to a party at her six year-old friend Andy's new house. If I were Andy, I would demand my own room immediately (he is currently sharing one with his 18 month-old brother). Here is Andy greeting us like Gatsby!
